WHO I AM AND HOW I BECAME A REFLEXOLOGIST
Hi, I'm Tracey and welcome to Charnwood House Reflexology.
I am a qualified Level 5 Clinical Reflexologist, currently the highest reflexology qualification in the UK. I was taught by Jubilee College Principle David Wayte, The first Reflexologist to be made a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Like many mums, I worked around my children's school time and ended up working in office-based jobs that paid the bills more than what I would call my vocation in life. I missed the jobs I previously had that involved care, compassion, and 121 contacts, which I had whilst working as a Phlebotomist on the Heart Wards at the Glenfield Hospital and also at a local Doctors Surgery.

In 2006 I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, my children were still young and I found I struggled most with the emotional rollercoaster, I wish I had known the benefit of Reflexology at the time. I have family members and friends that have battled and fought cancer and some sadly lost the battle. The support they received from various Cancer charities has been excellent and I knew that one day I would become a volunteer.
After visiting a local Spa, I received a Reflexology treatment and was amazed at how relaxed I felt (considering I hate my feet being touched and how ticklish they are) It was my special treat, it worked for me, and I felt like I was walking on air. I knew one day I would also become Reflexologist and in 2021 I was so happy to qualify as a Level 5 Clinical Reflexologist. I was also able to volunteer at a local Cancer Charity support trust and provided Reflexology to people who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families and carers which has been my absolute pleasure and I've met some amazing people.
